Looking Ahead…

I’ve been freelancing full-time as a designer for a year now, and I’d like to plan where I see my business going. Majority of the year has been spent working on client projects, and I really hope to branch out and work on my own “non-client” projects. I seem to thrive on my own work- It gets me motivated, inspired and keeps my passion flowing for what I do. Experimenting and learning new things is exciting, but I’m not finding this through client projects.

Besides my “ideal” client, I plan on pursuing my own projects. Here’s a few things I have in the back of my head if not already in the works.

• Design mobile iPhone app and get it developed
• Write a small eBook
• Get an online poster, shirt and print shop running
• Create and sell more digital products on the Envato network

Currently I’m finding it hard to stay inspired on the constant boredom of client projects. So for a couple months now, I’ve been planning and developing my own online “hub”. Somewhere I can experiment and stay creative! Post essential resources, tutorials, inspiration, comics, and much more for freelancers alike around the world.
